Yep. Thinking of New Orleans. Maybe that is my next adventure. That, or Savannah. Heck, maybe both. Anyone been? Please leave a comment about your favorite spots – and if you have any tips for independent tour guides (cars, not buses), places to stay, it would be appreciated as well.
http://www.kayak.com/explore/ – – interesting map of the US and international destinations.
http://www.airfarewatchdog.com/ – – beginning to plan a trip to a city, two, or three (or more)? Start a ‘My Fare Alert’. I get weekly/monthly emails on the places I’d like to go to, just to see about their airline deals.
http://www.skyscanner.com/ – – new site I came across.
http://www.farecompare.com/ – – another compare fares site
http://www.studentuniverse.com/ – – if you are young and a student (college/university – or well, even high school now – it says 13+, but when I was younger, it was only for college students) check out this site. And purchase, also, a ISIC card – don’t miss out on discounts galore when you travel! I used it for when I went to Europe my first time. Speak with someone (faculty/staff) in the International Student Relations department at your school, that’s how I got mine.

CMA Music Festival & Fan Fair – Tennessee Tourism
Just found an awesome article featured on the official TN tourism page, here, about bookstores in Nashville.
Interesting site – visit to search for accredited Zoos and Aquariums in the United States. Traveling somewhere and love to visit them? Awesome thought to search this site!

Live on Stage / Hollywood Studios
Be Our Guest Restaurant / Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom
B&TB 1991 + 25 years = 2016. Wonder what they’ll do then? I’m patiently waiting. I adore Beauty and the Beast – it’s my favorite Disney film!
Wildhorse Saloon – btw, if anyone has a contact with someone there, I’m really trying hard to track down an old Westlife poster from 2003-ish, you would really, really make me incredibly happy. 🙂 I live in the States, the group is from Ireland, and they are one of my ultimate favorites. If you do, please contact me using the form below in this post. Thanks!!
Country Music Hall of Fame
Widow of the South – Carton Plantation – – if you haven’t read the book – please do. Gave me the same feeling, just about, as reading On The Corner of Bitter and Sweet.

Grand Ole Opry – tour and show
Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center – yeah, maybe strange to visit (especially if nothing is happening there when I visit Nashville in a few years) but I would like to go. In college, I even applied there – as an event planning person – but I think they thought I lived too far away. I was graduating and ready to go far away, though, but never heard back. Maybe it was God’s way of saying that I’m not ready yet, I guess, is the way I thought of it.
Fifty Under $50 article – including Cape Cod, outskirts of Boston, etc. Don’t miss the Cape – visit the Pilgrim Monument, Nauset Light, etc.
“Bookmarking” so that I remember to come back to this site. I love Disney’s Beauty & The Beast (…and the CW show as well, but I love Disney’s a little bit more – and Dark Angel) and would love to see the Broadway musical production. I have seen the Disney version that is performed in Hollywood Studios at Disney World, and I just adored it! (I also sat right in front of the sound booth, because I read online somewhere that was the best hearing place to sit – and it’s “up” too so you see the entire stage, especially if you are short like I am – and it was the best place to sit!
I did however arrive too early for the Beauty & the Beast merchandise at Disney, I was so bummed. They had also JUST opened Fantasyland (I went in February 2013) so a lot of things were packed – including the restaurant inside the Beast’s castle. Too bad – hopefully I will go back someday!!
